SCADA remediation for Meridian

The Meridian ADMS SCADA configuration was created during the initial system migration. The SCADA part of the ADMS system was not migrated and the configuration was not maintained.

IAC was contracted a year after the production launch to create a new migrator for the SCADA data. This migrator generated the ADMS command files (PFL) to incrementally update, correct and calibrate the SCADA configuration.

The migrator successfully detected the required changes and incrementally updated the ADMS SCADA configuration to bring it up to date. The inputs to the migrator were Leads and Northrop LN2068 and a Foxboro C50 data concentrator / protocol converter.

The migrator imported both sources, mapped the CONITEL data to DNP via the C50 configuration and imported the ADMS SCADA database for comparison.

The outputs of the migrator were ADMS PFL that will correct the existing SCADA configuration and a simSCADA database. To find out more about IAC's data migration capabilities, please contact us.

Automated cutovers for WEL

WEL Networks NZ have purchased IAC's Orche licenses for each of their SCADA development, pre-production, and production environments.

WEL Networks have taken full advantage of Orche, which manages all of their production environments scheduled tasks from a single system.

Orche scheduled tasks range from running the nightly Fault Location Isolation Service Restoration application level backup, to detect & isolate faults.

IAC has used Orche to build all of WEL Networks ADMS end-to-end management, and perform automated cutovers since 2018.
